Gilfach Road was one our more recent projects brought to Newydd as a package deal. Working with the landowner who previously had planning permission for 5 detached dwellings we successfully obtained planning permission for 12 apartments which are a mix of 1 and 2 bedrooms and 4 dwellings wheelchair accessible units. The design has gained much interest being 3 storey walkup aparments with no communal areas. This means less maintenance for the housing association and is more private for end users.
The sites topography and proximity to sites of ecological importance it has been challenging but starting in the summer of 2024 we are now looking to complete this scheme within 2025.
