Ty Gwyn was advertised as an open tender on behalf of Bron Afon Housing Association. We were successful in our bid in early 2024 prior to planning permission being obtained. We worked with the client to finalise the design and rationalising many complicated design features. The scheme consists of 15 dwellings which are a mix of 1 – 2 bedroom apartments, houses and bungalows. The development is brownfield with a derelict care home currently occupying the site. This will be demolished and regenerate the site for future users.

The complications around the demolition, proximity to woodland and adoption of the access road has made the development more challenging but with our consultants and internal resource we are looking for a start on site in April 2024 with the final scheme being delivered in 2026.
